Following the recent release of data from NHSBSA, we now know only 64% of eligible families in Kirklees are accessing the additional support that Healthy Start offers – this means that approximately 1740 expectant mums/families are missing out on an average of £309 per year towards healthier foods, milk and free maternal/child vitamins. The Uniform Exchange has Lindley CE Infant School uniform available for families which is new/nearly new. Please contact them if you would like to use this service.
Here in school we are part of the FareShare Distribution Organisation. We distribute food to any family who are in need of food. Staff kindly collect surplus food from Tesco's in the the local area to give to families.
